Store Manager-Retail / Grocery
We are looking for seasoned retail/grocery managers with the financial, forecasting, planning and organizational skills to direct all aspects of store management. As the top business executive within each location, the store manager has responsibility for revenues ranging from $75-$250 million annually and a staff of up to 400 team members. Working with a regional team, each store manager will enjoy the challenges of recruiting and retaining quality talent, managing inventory, and complying with federal and local regulatory compliance. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Store Management - Achieve store and profit targets and operate the business at a high quality level on a day-day basis. Specific areas of focus include: pricing, merchandising, forecasting and planning. - Oversee all aspects of store operations - Manage inventory to corporate standards - Ensure that key operational activities are optimized, driving bottom-line results - Comply with company policies, procedures and standards - Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction in all decisions and actions - Promote positive community relations through external involvement and application of corporate programs and initiatives Strategy and Development - Coordinate with regional team - Recruit, train and retain talented team members through ongoing Training and Development. - Communicate and drive company wide support for the identified business strategies - Work effectively with corporate and regional counterparts to execute business strategies and achieve annual goals EXPERIENCE: - 5+ years store retail store management/supervisory including at least 2 years grocery - Solid understanding of all aspect of store management including financial forecasting inventory management - Demonstrated track record in successfully managing complex projects with multiple partners/customers and aggressive time lines Educational and Skill Requirements - College degree preferred - Computer skills - able to effectively operate computer and electronic systems and learn additional software/systems to meet changing operational needs.
